EAST VILLAGE — Police are hunting for a man they say burglarized a series of apartments in the East Village during a month-long crime spree.

The suspect is wanted in connection with the burglaries of nine apartments on E. 13th St., E. 11th St., St. Marks Place, E. 9th St., Avenue B and Avenue C, police said.

In each of the burglaries, the suspect entered the residences through the roof, window or rear door of the buildings, police said.

Eight of the burglaries occurred between March 10 and March 20, with the final incident happening on April 3, police said.

In all of the cases, the suspect fled the apartments with assorted personal property, police added.
