MANHATTAN — The mother of the 2-year-old who was saved by a French tourist after falling off a pier at the South Street Seaport wants to thank her daughter’s savior in person.

Kathleen Sheridan said she’d be willing to pay for hero Julien Duret’s plane ticket back to New York from France if he decides to return, according to the Daily News.

"I want to give him my heartfelt gratitude," Sheridan told the paper on Thursday. "The next time he comes back to the U.S., I would give him my frequent-flier miles so he can have a ticket for free. He saved my daughter's life."

Duret, 29, told the paper he didn’t hesitate before leaping 20 feet off a pier into the frigid East River on Saturday to save 2-year-old Bridget Sheridan.

"The emotion took over," Duret told the News on Tuesday by phone from his hometown of Lyon, France. "I didn't think at all."
