GREENWICH VILLAGE — Police released a sketch of the man who allegedly stabbed two friends to death in bloody early-morning attack on the 2 train in Greenwich Village.

The NYPD described the suspect as a Hispanic male, about 25 years old, between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall, with a medium build.

The suspect, who injured another man in the incident, was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a waist-length black leather jacket, according to the description.

Police indicated the suspect was with five other Hispanic men at the time of the attack.

Copies of sketch were posted in the Christopher Street station in the West Village on Wednesday, where police believe the assailant fled from after the attack.

Friends Darnell Morel and Ricardo Williams, both 24 and from Brooklyn, were killed on the downtown train after a run-in with the suspect while returning from a Midtown bar with a group of friends about 5 a.m. on Sunday.

The assailant apparently retaliated after getting hit with trash one of the men threw out of the train, according to reports.

The suspect reportedly fled the subway from the Christopher Street station, but the investigation had been complicated by the fact that no security cameras are installed at the station and no station agents are posted at the underground location.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to call the Sixth Precinct Detective Squad at 212-741-4841 or the Manhattan South Homicide Squad.
