MANHATTAN — Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Midtown bank.
The suspect was caught on camera entering the Sovereign Bank at 711 Third Avenue near 44th Street just before 3 p.m. on Feb. 19, police said.
The man approached the teller and said, "I have a pistol and my son is outside with a pistol. Give me all the $100s, $50s and $20s," according to police.
The suspect then left the bank with the cash. He is described as a 40 to 50-year-old black man, 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighing 135 pounds.
He had brown eyes and a discolored lip and was wearing a green knit hat with a visor, a black trench coat, black gloves and carrying a walking cane, police said.
