MANHATTAN — A three-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital from Midtown's St. Patrick's Day festivities Tuesday afternoon after falling from his father's shoulders on Central Park South, a police source said.
Emergency responders received a call about 1:25 p.m. saying the boy was unsconscious at Central Park South and Sixth Avenue, FDNY said.
The first report said he'd fallen off a wall.
The boy was slipping in and out of consciousness after he hit the concrete, a police source said.
He was put in a neck brace and taken to New York Hospital, fire officials said.
The boy was one of a family of four tourists visiting the city, the police source said.
