UPPER WEST SIDE — Upper West Side fashionistas will not have to go far for high-end plaid now that Burberry has confirmed they are opening a store in the neighborhood.

The famous English brand has already eyeballed 160 Columbus Avenue as a possible location for their new store that will tentatively open in June, according to NBC New York.

The 3,000-square-foot space would be located next to the Ugg flagship shoe store between 67th and 68th Streets.

Burberry has long been associated with expensive outerwear, especially trench coats, purses and accessories, that are often lined with its signature tartan print.

The duds would put a dent in Upper West Siders' wallets with some coats retailing for upwards of $4,400.

The brand was founded more than a century ago and sticks to a classic look but has also earned a modern image by using models such as Kate Moss and actress Emma Watson, of Harry Potter fame.

Burberry will join other chain retailers such as Apple, Whole Foods and Kiehls, which have also found the neighborhood a good bet for business.
