MANHATTAN — The NYPD charged a Manhattan socialite with identity theft and multiple counts of grand larceny last week after she allegedly racked up close to $4,000 in unauthorized charges on a friend's credit card.

Kashmir Snowdon-Jones, 21, rung up the $3,821.71 in charges to get back at her friend, Jennifer Hirsch, the court complaint stated. Snowdon-Jones was angry that Hirsch told her she didn’t want to be friends anymore, the New York Post reported.

After copying down Hirsch’s credit card number, she used the account number to buy takeout food, flowers and designer clothes, the Post said.

"I made the credit-card charges to get back at my friend," Snowdon-Jones told cops, according to the Post.

Friends told the Post that Snowdon-Jones often bragged that she was the goddaughter of Eric Clapton.

Snowdon-Jones reportedly attended boarding school until she transferred to the prestigious Professional Children's School on the Upper West Side.

"People call her a socialite, but she's just a wannabe socialite," an ex-pal told the Post.
