BRYANT PARK — Zac Posen, eat your heart out. Fashion Week’s latest young designer has emerged — and she’s only 10 years old.

Cecilia Cassini, who was spotted in The Tents decked out in pink and black striped gloves and an empire-waist dress she sewed and designed herself, has her own clothing line.

Cassini, whose clothes retail in boutiques nationwide, was on her way to the Carlos Miele show in the Promenade to get inspired.

“I love really high fashion looks,” said California-based Cassini. “Fashion Week is a great place to see what the top designers are doing.”

Cassini began creating clothes at just age 6 when she received a sewing machine from her grandmother for her birthday.

Cassini’s mom, Michelle, was checking out the shows with her daughter.

“I’m very proud," Michelle said. "She shows you don’t have to be an adult to create beautiful things and start a business.”

By the time she’s 11, Cassini hopes to show at Fashion Week herself.
