TIMES SQUARE — Illusionist David Blaine started working his magic for Haiti Friday morning.
Blaine, who filmed in Haiti in 1999, began three days of non-stop magic tricks at 9 a.m. to raise money for victims of the earthquake.
"I was filming my TV show and ended up falling in love with the people," Blaine said. "Everybody I met, even though they have so little, had so much to give."
"To have the devastation that happened with the earthquake happen there is unimaginable."
Blaine will be doing sleight of hand card tricks around the clock for anyone who wants to stop and be amazed at Military Island on 43rd Street and Broadway.
"I haven't been able to sleep," Blaine told DNAinfo. "I've been up Google News-ing and looking at images and just completely being disturbed by it, so I figured I'll do whatever I can to help."
