MANHATTAN — Friday’s deadline for campaign finance filings arrived, bringing few surprises with it.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg spent a record-breaking (his own record) $108 million-plus, doling out $400,000 bonuses to top campaign aides Bradley Tusk, Dep. Mayor Patti Harris and Howard Wolfson.

Bloomberg challenger Bill Thompson has not yet filed, but he is not expected to have spent much more than the approximately $9 million reflected during the last campaign finance cycle.

Gov. David Paterson's $3 million war chest was dwarfed — as expected — by probable gubernatorial rival Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's $16 million.

While the attorney general is raking in the campaign cash, he still refuses to say what he is running for in 2010.
