MANHATTAN — New York City's politicos will never again be on Dominic Carter's hot seat.
The NY1 "Road to City Hall" anchor has been permanently cut from the show, according to a published report.
Carter had been on leave since his November assault conviction for beating up his wife, but the break has become permanent, according to the New York Post.
The former anchor will be sentenced on Thursday, and faces jail time. Carter's wife said that he had kicked and punched her during a raucous fight in October 2008.
A NY1 spokesperson confirmed that they are in the process of finding a replacement for Carter.
