MANHATTAN — BlackBerry outages continue for many Manhattanites as users deal with Internet and e-mail blackouts on the popular devices for the second time in less than a week.
The patchy outages were caused by a technical glitch, according to the Daily News.
"Technical teams are actively working to resolve the issue for those impacted," a spokesperson for Research in Motion, the Canadian company that runs BlackBerry, told the paper.
It's unclear how long the problem will take to fix. Calls and texts were not affected by the outage.
BlackBerry users had a similar problem last Thursday when e-mails went down for much of the day.
