MANHATTAN — Police have made an arrest following a late-night mugging in Central Park, the latest in a recent spate of holdups there.

Ramelle Moore, 20, of the Upper West Side, was arrested early Sunday morning after he and two other suspects robbed three people. Police are hunting the two other suspects.

Shortly after midnight on Sunday, police said two men — aged 22 and 25 — were confronted by three men, one of whom had a gun, near 102nd Street and the East Drive. They were robbed, and shortly thereafter a third man, 46, walked by and was held up, too.

The three muggers fled into the park. Later, police arrested Moore and said a gun was recovered. Moore faces robbery and weapons possession charges, police said.

The incident follows another mugging on Nov. 2.

In that incident, two men grabbed a 62-year-old man from behind near Traverse Road No. 3 and the East Drive at 7:20 p.m. One of the suspects also pulled a gun before the duo made off with the man's property, police said.

The NYPD has released a sketch of one of the suspects.

Investigations are ongoing in both incidents.
