MIDTOWN — From Harlem to Chinatown, the Big Apple's neighborhoods provided the romantic backdrops for multiple love stories in the film “New York, I Love You” that premiered at the Ziegfeld Theater on Thursday night.

“This film is a testament to the city you live in,” producer Emmanuel Benbihy told a crowd of Manhattanites and celebrities in the audience. “And it’s a modest tribute to you.”

Ten directors  — including “The Namesake” director Mira Nair and "X-Men" director Brett Ratner — shot 10 interlocking vignettes for the film in neighborhoods up and down Manhattan.

Famous Manhattan landmarks, such as Central Park and Grand Central Station, were also featured in the film along with local haunts, like Walker’s restaurant in Tribeca.

Actors Andy Garcia, Blake Lively and Christina Ricci are part of the star-studded cast — along with born and bred New Yorkers Eli Wallach and Burt Young.

"New York City is a great city. It's the world to me," said the Queens-born Young, whose favorite neighborhoods are Little Italy and East Harlem.

Wallach, 83, said his all-time favorite New York pastime is going to shows on Broadway.

"New York, I Love You" opens in theaters nationwide on Friday.
