UPPER EAST SIDE — Four workers were rescued from scaffolding which became dislodged from a high rise building on East 65th Street Friday, officials said.

Emergency units raced to 200 East 65th Street just after 10 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

One side of the scaffolding, which was on the 17th floor, became dislodged and dropped to the 15th floor, said FDNY Lt. Billy Clark.

Rescuers managed to get to the workers off the scaffold via the 17th floor, the spokesman said.

The four men on the scaffolding were to taken to New York Hospital, where they were stable, said FDNY spokesman Frank Dwyer at the scene.
