BROOKLYN — A woman was struck and injured by a train in East New York Friday, officials said.

The victim was hit just after 1 p.m. by a Manhattan-bound No. 3 train at the Pennsylvania Avenue station near Livonia Avenue, fire and transit officials said.

She was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where her condition was not immediately known, an FDNY spokesman said.

Service between New Lots Avenue to Utica Avenue was suspended in both directions, said Kevin Ortiz, an MTA spokesman.
