Woman Sexually Assaulted on Harlem Subway Platform

HARLEM — The NYPD released photos of a man wanted for an alleged sexual attack in the 135th Street.

Police said the suspect followed a 25-year-old woman into the station, at 137th St. and St. Nicholas Ave., Thursday at 5:20 a.m.

The suspect grabbed the woman as she walked through the turnstile, then sexually assaulted her, police said.

The suspect ran from the location after the attack, cops said.

She was taken to a local hospital and treated for her injuries, police said.

Investigators believe the suspect is between 20 to 25 years old. Police said he is about 5-feet-9-inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with white lettering in the front, police said.
