Teen Indicted for Shooting 8-Year-Old Boy at Bronx Deli

SOUNDVIEW — A grand jury indicted a 15-year-old boy Thursday for allegedly shooting an 8-year-old boy, Armando Bigo in a Bronx bodega.

Eduardo Rodriguez is facing up to 10 years in jail for charges including attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon, according to the Bronx District Attorney's office.

Rodriguez was allegedly riding past Papa Yala's bodega at 1741 Randall Ave. on a bike when fired into the store, missing his intended target and hitting Bigo in the shoulder on Feb. 21.

The incident was the culmination of a feud between two local gangs, according to police.

Rodriguez is being held on $250,000 bail and will be arraigned on the indictment on March 28.
