BRONX — An 8-year-old boy was shot in the Clason Point section of The Bronx Tuesday night, authorities said.
The victim was struck in the shoulder by the gunfire shortly before 8 p.m. at 1741 Randall Ave., the FDNY said.
The boy was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities added.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the shooting.
