UPPER WEST SIDE — A man was injured early Thursday after being struck by a No. 1 subway train, transit and fire officials said.

The victim, who was not identified, was hit by the train at the Cathedral Parkway station, at W. 110th Street and Broadway, about 2:10 a.m., transit officials said. A spokesman said the man walked into the side of the southbound train.

Fire officials said the man was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with injuries, but his condition was unknown.

There were no significant transit delays, officials said.
