BRONX — Police are seeking a trio of suspects for shooting at and trying to mug a man in the South Bronx early Sunday.

The men approached the victim in front of 819 E. 173rd St., near Boston Road, about 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 22, flashed a gun and demanded his chain, the NYPD said.

The victim attempted to flee the would-be muggers on foot when one of the suspects fired four shots at him, missing the man, police said.

All the suspects fled the scene in unknown directions, police added.

The gun-wielding suspect was identified as Luis Delacruz, 18, and was described as standing 5-foot-8, police said.

The second suspect was described a male between 17 and 20 years old, standing between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9, and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds, police added.
