MANHATTAN — Police are searching for a man suspected of breaking a woman’s jaw while robbing a TriBeCa office the day after Christmas, authorities said.

The man entered the Downtown building armed with a knife about 3:15 p.m. Monday and forced his way into an office on the 10th floor, the NYPD said.

He then assaulted a 23-year-old woman, tied her up and stole an undetermined amount of cash, a backpack and a laptop computer before fleeing, police said.

The victim declined medical attention at the time of the incident, but was later treated for a broken jaw at Flushing Hospital, police added.

The suspect is described as standing between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8, weighing 200 pounds, and wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a black knit hat, the NYPD said.

Anyone with information in regards to the robbery is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
