GRAMERCY — Police arrested a man they say attacked and robbed several elderly men in Gramercy in November.
Henry Huggins, 51, from Murray Hill, was charged with burglary and two counts of robbery after robbing at least two men in their 70s.
On Nov. 3 Huggins allegedly robbed a 71-year-old man in the vestibule of his Gramercy apartment building — pushing him against a wall and stealing money out of his pocket.
A few weeks later on Nov. 23, Huggins allegedly approached another 71-year-old man from behind in the lobby of his Gramercy apartment building, assaulted him, breaking his arm, and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
Police did not disclose the locations of the robberies, but the Daily News reported that the first incident happened at a Stuyvesant Town building near East 16th Street and First Avenue.
