MANHATTAN — A suspicious fire erupted early Saturday morning at the South Street Seaport, fire sources said.
The blaze broke out in a trailer on Pier 17, near South Street, just before 1:20 a.m. and spread to a tent, the FDNY said.
The fire was brought under control about 20 minutes later and deemed suspicious.
No injuries were reported.
The Seaport did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
