DOWNTOWN — Police arrested one man and are looking for two others who allegedly threatened a woman in Zucotti Park Monday after she was assaulted in the plaza by one of their friends.

Police arrested Hasan Castillo, 23, of East Orange, N.J. on Tuesday, and charged with intimidating a witness, officials said.

He and two others allegedly approached the 24-year-old protester on Monday with threats to kill her because she filed a complaint that resulted in the arrest of their friend, Garfield Leslie, police said.

Leslie, 19, was arrested for assault and was found with drugs on him, according to police.

NYPD officials said the woman filed the complaint after she and her friends were assaulted on Oct. 11 in the privately owned public space that's become the base for the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Leslie allegedly offered to sell the woman drugs and when she declined that and his amorous advances, he punched her and two friends who tried to help, the Daily News reported.

The suspects at large are all believed to be between 16 and 20 years old.

One man is 5 feet 5 inches tall and has a thick build. He was last seen wearing a brown hat with a white shirt that had the words "Stone Harbor" printed on the front.

The other is 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build, black hair and a black beard. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  You can also submit a tip by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting a tip to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
