UPPER EAST SIDE — Four people were injured when a van flipped over on East 70th Street Thursday afternoon, sources and witnesses said.

The smashup unfolded near Third Avenue at 3:11 p.m. sending a blue Honda Odyssey hurtling into the air.

"It flipped all the way into the air," said one witness, who would not give his name, a worker in a nearby deli. "I was like holy s--t.”

The witness said that another car was trying to pass a bus while heading north on Third Avenue when it collided with the van, which was driving on 70th Street.

“The guy seemed really pissed off when he was trying to pass the bus,” he said.

It is not clear who had the light.
