LOWER EAST SIDE — Police are hunting for a pair of pickpockets who robbed a man in broad daylight on Allen Street last week.

Two men approached the 51-year-old victim in front of 71 Allen St., near Grand Street, on Tues., Aug. 30, about 9:45 a.m. and stole cash from the man’s pocket before fleeing on foot, police said.

The first suspect is described as 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-8 and weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing white shorts, a gray T-shirt, white sneakers and a blue Yankees hat, police said.

The second suspect is 16 to 20 years old, 5-foot-8 and 130 pounds. He was wearing tan pants, a dark plaid button-down shirt and white sneakers.
