Police Seeking Suspect in Morningside Heights Stabbing Death

MANHATTAN — Police are hunting a man suspected of stabbing a Bronx man to death during a fight Saturday night in Morningside Heights.

Authorities are searching for suspect Michael James, 30, in connection with the death of Sackiwa Ntuli, 34, who was found with a stab wound to the stomach in front of 277 W. 114th St., near Eighth Avenue, about 8:45 p.m. on Sat., Aug. 20, police said.

James is described as 6-feet-tall and weighing 180 pounds, with a lion tattoo on his right forearm, police said.

Sources said the victim and his attacker knew each other. It was not clear if the fight was over the woman.
