Fire Breaks Out in East Ninth Street Building

MANHATTAN — A fire broke out at an East Village building Saturday night, officials said.

The all-hands blaze erupted on the second floor of 323 E. Ninth St., near Second Avenue, just after 7:40 p.m., according to the FDNY.

The fire was brought under control about a half-hour later.

There were no injuries, fire officials said.
