MIDTOWN— Dinner with the Donald? You betcha.

Sarah Palin rolled into Midtown Tuesday night for a private meeting and dinner with Donald Trump, according to reports.

"What do we have in common? a love for this country and a desire to see the economy get back on track," Palin told reporters outside the Trump Tower, as she left the building with the Donald at her side.

"She's a great woman," Trump added of the GOP and Tea Party powerhouse, who's said to be mulling a run for the White House.

The TV-hungry couple were then expected to head out for dinner at an undisclosed eatery, according to reports.

Palin is mounting a post-Memorial Day bus tour through the northeast that pundits believe is designed to boost her undeclared candidacy.

Trump was briefly considered a front-runner in the race to challenge President Barack Obama, a push capped off by a demand that Obama release his full birth certificate in an apparent nod to the so-called "birthers" who don't believe Obama was born in the U.S.

But Trump backed out of the race following the capture and death of Osama bin Laden, which earned the president praise on both sides of the political aisle.
