SOHO - Four people, including a bicyclist, were injured Wednesday after a van crashed into a truck in SoHo, authorities said.
The crash unfolded at Houston Street and Broadway just before 3 p.m. Houston Street has been the site of several fatal bicycle accidents in recent years.
Shamim Ahmed, who works at a Sbarro's pizzeria nearby, said that he ran outside after he heard a loud noise.
There, he saw three men being treated by medics, including the cyclist.
"He was bleeding from his leg," he said. "I saw blood on the street."
All of the injuries were minor.
Houston Street is the site of a number of "ghost bikes" that are painted white and dedicated to cyclists who were killed in accidents.

In June 2006, Brooklyn filmmaker Derek Lake was killed when he fell off his bike and was hit by a truck near LaGuardia Place.
There is another ghost bike at Houston and Elizabeth streets, a memorial for Andrew Ross Morgan, who was hit and killed by a furniture truck there in 2005.
And Brandie Bailey was also killed that year when she was hit by a garbage truck on Houston Street and Avenue A.
Substance abuse counselor Tony Perez, 53, who works in the area said: "The traffic here is crazy. They're going to have to make space for [the cyclists], but anyone who rides down here is totally crazy."
The cause of the accident was unclear.
