MANHATTAN — A tiny Union Square taqueria has become so busy it’s expanding.

The owners of Dos Toros are opening its second restaurant, on Carmine Street, in Greenwich Village, this month. A third will open on the Upper East Side later this year, according to Crains.

The success since opening two years ago has even surprised brothers Leo and Oliver Kremer, who own the taqueria.

"We had four different business scenarios, including, 'This isn’t working, and we need to close,'" Leo Kremer told Crains.

The Union Square spot, at 137 Fourth Ave., now serves 600 meals a day, and has outgrown its space.

"We're hoping we can take some of the pressure of the first store," Oliver Kremer told Crain's.

The eatery was included in Food & Wine’s list of the country’s best taco spots last year.
