TRIBECA - Two Brooklyn men are facing a slew of charges after they led cops on a wild foot chase through the Holland Tunnel Friday night, authorities said.

Jahaad Sanders, 19 and Lorenzo Dease, 24, Brooklyn, were hit with aggravated assault, carjacking, weapons possession and resisting arrest, according to Port Authority spokesman Steve Coleman.

Officials said a PA officer saw a Jeep driven by Sanders improperly change lanes after passing through the toll booth on the New Jersey side.

When the cop tried to stop the vehicle "the driver tried to elude the officer," Coleman said.

"At one point, [the officer] feared for his safety and the safety of others," and opened fire, he said.

Cops are still trying to sort out why the officer opened fire, but the suspects reportedly tried to mow him down, according to the New York Post.

One of the four shots hit Sanders in the left forearm. Dease was not hit.

The suspects then took off on foot into the tunnel where they tried to get into several vehicles, officials said.

No one was hurt in the alleged carjacking attempts and the suspects were nabbed inside the tunnel.

Sanders was taken to Bellevue Hospital and was in stable condition.

The officer and another cop who gave chase were taken to Jersey City Medical Center and released.
