MIDTOWN — An overhead wiring problem near Penn Station delayed trains coming in and out of Manhattan by 20 to 30 minutes during the Tuesday morning rush hour.
The delays, affected the Northeast Corridor Line of New Jersey Transit, had improved slightly by 10 a.m., with estimated delays between 15 and 30 minutes.
The NJTransit website showed that normal service was restored by midday.
The LIRR and MTA subways were running on schedule at the station.
