EAST VILLAGE — Stephen Colbert is getting the pop-art treatment on Second Avenue.

A poster imitating artist Andy Warhol's famous Campbell's Soup can painting — but instead giving a nod to the satirical "Colbert Report" host — recently appeared on a wall near the corner of East 10th Street.

The piece jokingly advertises "Colbert's Stephensed Manhattan Clam Chowder," and boasts of an "irony rich mouthful" over a small portrait of the bespectacled funnyman.

Identical prints have been seen in the Meatpacking District and Brooklyn.

A spokeswoman for Comedy Central, the network that airs "The Colbert Report," said it is not responsible for the posters, but did not comment further.

The comedian's late-night show, which skewers politics in a Fox News style, has been on the air since 2005.
