MIDTOWN — Make no bones about it: dog lovers and their furry friends celebrated St. Patrick's Day early at a benefit for the Humane Society held at the Muse Hotel Wednesday night.

Party-goers and their pooches dressed in their best emerald-hued outfits, in everything from full-body sequined suits, to tu-tus and cocktail dresses. Guests visited the bar while the dogs enjoyed pet-friendly "Bowser Beer."

"Anyplace you can bring your dog is a lot of fun," said Jane Pontarelli.

"How lovely — I feel like I'm in Paris," said Victor Ozbri, who brought his dogs Ben and Jerry to the party.

An adorable three pound, teacup pomeranian, Ginger, presided over the evening as the Muse Hotel's director of pet relations.

Stars from the new reality show "Doggie Moms," were out in force with their pooches and dressed to impress, as well as Jo Lance from "Mexico's Next Top Model."

"It's really just to get people to come out with their dogs and give people who are dogless a way to meet dogs that are up for adoption," said party organizer Wendy Diamond, who is also the editor-in-chief of Animal Fair magazine.

Diamond organizes many pup-friendly functions each year. Most recently, Diamond headed a Valentine's Day "Yappy Hour," which gave singles and their canine companions a way to mingle.

Two pups — Jana, a pug, and Nena, a miniature pinscher — were available for adoption, and showered many of the guests with kisses throughout the night.

All proceeds from the $50 per person admission went to the Humane Society of New York.
