MANHATTAN — Shake Shack is going for a slam dunk with a new Carmelo Anthony-inspired creation on the heels of the star-player's debut with the New York Knicks.

The "Car-Mallow Shake" is a "powerhouse combination" of sweet vanilla custard, caramel sauce, marshmallow and malt introduced Thursday for $5.75, according to signs posted in city stores.

The celebration special will be available through March 13, according to Shake Shack's official Facebook page.

And so far the creamy confection seems like it’s off to a winning start, just like Anthony’s Knicks.

"They’ve been selling all day," said one cashier at the burger joint’s Upper East Side location. "They keep asking if he came by. Not yet!"

Upper East Sider Cameron Cohl, 19, got his first taste of the shake Thursday when he stopped by for a late-night treat.

"When I heard they had it, I was like, 'Sick!'" said Cohl, a huge Knicks fan who thought the shake lived up to the player's name.

"It’s very good," he said between sips. "It's an intense mix of flavors. And it's very smooth, like Carmelo," he said.

Of course Shake Shack isn’t the only eatery joining in on the celebratory bandwagon.

On Tuesday, the Carnegie Deli debuted a massive Carmelo Anthony sandwich that packs beef, pastrami, salami, bacon, lettuce, tomato and Russian dressing between two slices of Rye.

Spencer Pesce, 18, who lives in Queens, said that as soon as he saw the shake on the menu, he couldn’t resist.

"It had to do with Carmelo so I had to get it!" he said, as he finished off his meal. "The Knicks finally have a superstar in the battle again."

His friend Chris Mattina, 17, who lives on the Upper East Side, agreed.

"Its’ really exciting. A player like that in New York is ridiculous," he said between slurps.

As for the shake? He said, "It was a really good idea.”
