MANHATTAN — The body of "Narnia" producer Perry Moore was found in his Greenwich Village apartment on Thursday.

The medical examiner's office said they were doing the autopsy on Moore's body Friday. The New York Post reported the producer and novelist died of an overdose, and said prescription pills were found in his apartment.

Moore, 39, was the producer of "The Chronicles of Narnia" movies, and penned a young adult book titled, "Hero," about a teen struggling both with his new super powers and his homosexuality, according to IMDB.
