MANHATTAN — The Village Party Store that burned down last February will be reborn as a posh restaurant with a rooftop garden from the restaurateur behind Bobo, a representative for the restaurant confirmed Monday.

The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serve beer and wine, according to the representative, who could not confirm the restaurant's expected opening date.

It will be overseen by restaurateur Carlos Suarez, who opened Bobo in a renovated townhouse on West 10th Street and Seventh Avenue in 2007.

More detailed plans for the restaurant, to open at 18 Greenwich Ave., were laid out in an online petition circulated in anticipation of the site's liquor license bid, last year.

The restaurant will serve customers between 7 a.m. and 1 a.m. daily, with two floors of indoor seating, a 20-seat sidewalk café and a working rooftop garden, according to the petition.

It will also feature a "school food program for local children" and an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients, the petition said.

Famed restaurateur Keith McNally had previously vied for the 18 Greenwich Ave. space, hoping to open a café spin-off of his upscale Houston Street pizza joint Pulino's, according to Eater.com.
