MEATPACKING DISTRICT — The Standard Hotel's public displays of kinky sex and nudity could be set in a red-light district — and now fans can own their own red light from the Standard's limited-edition lighting collection.

The swanky hotel chain is selling a set of limited-edition light bulbs for $65 per pack of three — but the pricey lighting does not guarantee buyers access to the sex romps reportedly visible through the hotel's huge windows.

The light bulbs were designed by School of Visual Arts-educated designer Brian Donnelly, who goes by "KAWS," a one-time graffiti artist who gained fame in the late '90s for his vinyl toys, T-shirts, shoes and wallets, many of which feature the "XX" logo found on the Standard's light bulbs.

The hotel is offering 1,000 of the packs, each of which contains a purple, green and red bulb. The light bulbs are now available at the Standard Hotel retail shops in New York, Miami and Los Angeles, as well as online.

Collaborations with area artists are an ongoing priority for the Standard, which has previously featured projects with artists including sculptor Julia Chiang and painters Jose Parla and Anthony Lister.

But light bulbs aren't the only new offering at the Washington St. tower — last month, the Standard debuted its own ice rink.
