Police Hunt for Suspect in East Harlem Murder

MANHATTAN — Police are hunting for a suspect in the murder of a 36-year-old man shot to death in East Harlem two weeks ago.

Maurice Gibson, of East 99th Street, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the back, arm and buttocks about 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 23 at 307 East 101 St., police said.

Gibson was taken to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell hospital where he later died from his wounds, according to NYPD.

Police described the suspect as a black male last seen wearing a dark colored jacket and a black ski hat.
