MANHATTAN — Mariah Carey is expecting twins, her husband announced on Thursday.
Carey's husband Nick Cannon made the announcement that the couple was expecting twins on his 92.3 Now radio program "Rollin' with Nick Cannon" on Thursday.
The couple disclosed the pregnancy in October, but waited another two months to reveal the twins.
They delayed making the announcement of the double pregnancy because the 41-year-old singer and sometime actress had a miscarriage last year, Cannon told his audience.
Cannon also told listeners that Carey told President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama about the twins following a recent concert.
Carey and Cannon married on April 30, 2008.
