MANHATTAN — “Bookmarc,” the latest extension of designer Marc Jacobs’ Bleecker Street fiefdom, is now open at the corner of West 11th Street, Racked reported.

The new shop offers coffee table books, colored pencils, artsy postcards and blank journals among other literary items, according to Racked. The store, located at 400 Bleecker St., replaces the Biography Bookshop, a cult favorite for its niche focus on tomes chronicling the lives of great men and women.

Bookmarc isn’t the only recent change among Marc Jacobs' neighborhood  outposts.

Villagers searching for a cheap buy at Marc by Marc Jacobs Accessories are out of luck — the 385 Bleecker street shop closed down last week, Racked reported. In its stead, a higher-end Marc Jacobs Collection Accessories shop is opening this week.

The budget-friendly t-shirts, clutches, totes and key chains that populated the old shop are now dispersed among Bookmarc, Marc by Marc Women at 403 Bleecker, and Marc by Marc Men’s Accessories at 298 W. 4th Street, according to Racked.
