UPPER WEST SIDE — A food fight looms on the horizon after another burger house with a cult following announced it was moving to the Upper West Side.

Five Napkin Burger is scheduled to open its second location on 84th Street and Broadway next Monday. This will put Upper West Siders in a pickle as to where to get their burgers, with the very popular Shake Shack less then ten blocks away.

The new burger house menu will be identical to its sibling in Hell's Kitchen, according to company spokesman Steven Hall. The decor has been labeled as "butcher shop chic," calling on the aesthetic powers of meat hooks, filament bulbs and a chalk mural.

For those of you who have ever tramped around the ever-full Shake Shack with a tray of burgers trying to find a seat, Five Napkin will be offering a civilized 100-seat floor plan.

"We are a full service restaurant and we take reservations," Hall said. "We have a lot of other things on our menu."

For locals like 40-year-old Nancy Wittman, who has tried the menu at both eateries, at the end of the day it doesn't matter where the burger comes from just as long as the kids are happy.

"Whatever is on the way back from wherever you are going that's where you stop," she said.
