For more than 100 years, Barbour, an authentic British brand, has provided functional, fashionable clothing while maintaining the core values of its heritage: durability, fitness for purpose and attention to detail. A fifth-generation family business, Barbour now has a presence in more than 40 countries worldwide, with two shops right here in NYC.

Located in Soho’s historic Cast Iron District, Barbour Soho opened in November 2010 and offers a full range of Lifestyle and Heritage clothing and accessories for both men and women. Best known for its classic wax jackets, Barbour’s contemporary and classic designs have stood the test of time.  Although Barbour sources products from around the globe, Barbour's classic wax jackets are still manufactured by hand in our factory in South Shields, England.

New for Spring/Summer 2013 is the Barbour Polo Club collection, based on Barbour’s long association with the Household Cavalry Polo team. New polo motifs have been developed to create a colorful range that includes equestrian quilts, player tops and polo shirts.

Ladies accessories this season feature vibrant prints and floral quilts transforming hats, laptop cases and handbags, along with bright and feminine silk scarves. Men will notice the lightweight fabrics and construction across all menswear collections with an injection of color for the season.

Barbour’s Soho location also caters to the more fashion-forward shopper, offering Barbour’s high-end women’s Gold Label and men’s Beacon Heritage lines. This season’s Beacon Heritage line includes shirting and robust knitwear with a dramatic emphasis on nautical colors, making a natural link to reds and navy blues. Gold Label offers a choice of color, styles and fits with coordinated shirts, knitwear, trousers and accessories for women to create a unique wardrobe of clothes in each collection.
