Billed as "part science fair, part county fair and part something entirely new," Maker Faire is a festival of inventors and artists who come together and showcase their creations.

This year's World Maker Faire takes place at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park on Saturday, Sep. 29 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, Sep. 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Witness a life size game of Mouse Trap, a build-your-own Power Wheels race or a Coca-Cola and Mentos fueled version of the Bellagio Fountains.
