The Washington Heights Film Class is hosted by Greg Robinson, the film critic for "The Jewish Week." Each month, the class shows screenings of films from several different genres and cultures. Discussions are held before and after each film.

The theme of the 2013 film class is “Dealer’s Choice: Hidden Gems and Teacher’s Pets,” films that are of high quality but that never found a large audience. April's screening is "A Dangerous Method," a 2011 film by director David Cronenberg that the film class describes as "the twisted relationships between Freud and Jung and Jung's gorgeous patient Sabine Spielrein."

Membership to the Washington Heights Film Class is $100 for 10 classes or $15 per class. Seniors can get a 10-class membership for $75.
