A walking tour will traverse Astoria and Long Island City, led by urban geographer and historian Jack Eichenbaum.

The walk along the East River shore between the Queensboro and RFK (Triboro) bridges will showcase views of Manhattan’s Upper East Side from three parks, along with a former piano factory, a huge power plant, Socrates Sculpture Park, the Isamu Noguchi Museum and antebellum mansions. The tour ends in Astoria at the Bohemian Hall beer garden.

The tour will meet at the northwest corner of 21st Street and 41st Avenue. The cost is $15.
