Amateur vegan bakers face off at The Bell House in Gowanus Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, for "The Vegan Bake-Off Dessert Competition." Entries ranging from cookies to cupcakes to tarts will be reviewed by a panel of judges including Chef Adam Sobel of the Cinnamon Snail Food Truck, Sarah Gross of the New York City Vegetarian Food Festival and comedian Myq Kaplan.

The event kicks off at 3 p.m. Tickets cost $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Vegan-friendly beer, wine and liquor will be on sale.
