The craft of pysanky is a centuries-old Ukrainian tradition in which eggs are dyed and decorated with intricate, layered patterns. At this workshop, Anna Sawaryn will guide children and adults through the process. Children are welcome, but parents should be advised that participants will handle a stylus and hot beeswax. Young children should be accompanied by an adult.

The event will take place at 6th and B Community Garden, Avenue B between 5th & 6th streets. No reservations are required; interested participants should feel free to drop by the day of the event.
